Decades Ago Photographers Found That Sportsmobile Makes A Great Vehicle for getting them to that perfect location in comfort. And once there they have all the convenience of home for hours, days or weeks at a time.


It's Their One Ton Camera Bag, studio on wheels and much more. Some photographers travel the North and South American continents in their Sportsmobiles.

The Following Are Some Of The Features that are often included in our Sportsmobile conversions for photographers:

  • Zippered screens for the front three Penthouse expandable top (O) windows. Need additional shooting height? When the top is down it's strong enough for several people to stand on. A rear ladder can provide access. If you prefer a fixed top, the windows have sliding screens.

  • Steel security compartments that install below the van's floor, with locks, are available in various sizes up to 7.5 cubic feet.

  • Cabinet compartments can be sized for your various equipment with door locks.

Three cinematography production and film crews now depend on their Sportsmobile to get them to their location. It also serves as their studio, changing room, and meeting location.

Sportsmobile has the experience and the creativity to convert a wide variety of specialty vehicles. We can convert a van to whatever level you need. Such as 12V/110V electrical systems, inverters, climate control, generators, etc. We can also finish out the van's interior and install furnishings and appliances to your specifications. All work will be to applicable codes.
